Fernside's Video Wins International Award!
On Thursday, November 17th, people around the country will
be wearing blue to show their support for grieving children. And just in time
Grief Awareness Day, we learned that Fernside’s Thank You Cincinnati video won first place in the 2016 Association
for Healthcare Philanthropy Social Media Video Contest!
Entries were judged on four factors: Usefulness in fundraising, clear
messages, creative approach and overall production. Fernside was recognized and
the video was shown at the AHP International Conference in Chicago in October, with
over 500 professionals in attendance. Our video will be featured on AHP’s
social media digital newsletter and on their website. Along with the awesome
press, AHP also made a $250 donation to Fernside!
We are super proud of the video but the real stars are the children and
teens who were willing to share their experiences and feelings on camera. A big
thank you to: Caitlin & Natalie Cook,
Benji & Eli Crow, Desiree Fourth, Damius Hodges, AJ & Andrew Kern,
Charis, Rowan & Theia Kroger, La’Mya Lear, Erin Rusconi, Enairs &
Enaisha Turnbow and Ollie & Tilly Westrich.
If you want to learn more about the life of a grieving child, take five
minutes to watch our video. Share it on your social media accounts! And be sure
to wear blue on November 17th!
