Meet Our Team
Victoria Ott, MA, LPPC-S
Executive Director
Vicky has a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky and earned her M.A. in Community Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. She is a licensed professional clinical counselor. Vicky first became involved at Fernside as a volunteer and has been on staff since 1995. As the Executive Director since 2006, she has led the organization through remarkable growth and change. She oversees the day-to-day operations of Fernside as well as new program development and special projects. Vicky also provides senior leadership for Hospice of Cincinnati’s, Goldstein Family Grief Center.
Katie Beurket
Program Coordinator
Katie has a B.S. in Communications with a focus on Organizational & Health Communication from Ohio University. Her introduction to Fernside was as a teenager participating in our support groups following the death of her father in 2009. Katie returned to Fernside first to volunteer as a member of our teen PIT (Philanthropists in Training) Crew and later as a volunteer facilitator for three years, before joining the staff in 2021. Katie coordinates our East Side and Tuesday Blue Ash group nights, our Summer Camp as well as our Community Outreach & Education Program. Katie provides oversight of all social media platforms.
Christi Kettman
Outreach Coordinator
Christi has a B.A. in Psychology from Thomas More University. She is a certified Trauma & Loss School Specialist. She joined Fernside’s staff in 2000 after volunteering for two years. Christi coordinates our School Program as well as our Downtown group night. She also coordinates our special collaboration groups for youth in non-traditional settings or who have experienced a variety of losses. Christi oversees Fernside’s website and publications.
Sally Ries
Volunteer Coordinator
Sally has a B.S. in Business Administration from Xavier University. She joined the Fernside staff in 2010 after having volunteered for three years. Sally coordinates our Volunteer Program as well as our Liberty Township group night. She also coordinates our special collaboration groups working with local County DDS Agencies. As an alumnus of the program, Sally feels a special connection to Fernside. Sally also represents Fernside on Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center’s End of Life Care Committee.
Taylor Sanders, MSW, LSW
Program Coordinator
Taylor has a B.A. in Social Work from Carthage College and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati. She joined the Fernside staff in 2022. Taylor coordinates our West Side and Blue Ash Wednesday group nights as well as our Crisis Program. She also oversees our annual Teen Retreat.
