NEW $5000 SIGN ON BONUS! This position works for Hospice of Cincinnati’s East Region – Monday-Friday, 8-hr days, no weekend/holiday. Mileage is reimbursed, full benefits including tuition reimbursement! Travels to homes/long term care facilities.
Must have at least 6 months experience as an aide. This is a Full-time STNA/Hospice Aide position in the very large East territory of Cincinnati for hospice patient care in homecare/long-term-care. We cover the eastern parts of Hamilton County, and all of Clermont, Brown and Warren County. Must be available to work Mon-Friday days, no weekends or holidays. Care is provided in the patient’s home or in their home/long-term-care home, so must have reliable transportation.
STNA HOSPICE OF CINCINNATI: The primary role of the STNA is to provide direct patient care to Hospice of Cincinnati patients under the direction of a registered nurse. The STNA will assist with, and/or perform, basic activities of daily living, including bathing, feeding, assistance with ambulation, etc., and the STNA will serve as a provider of companionship and emotional support, even during times of crisis. The position is responsible for knowing safety policies and following approved procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: 2 years High School Education General Studies Age 17 with work permit.Successful completion of Home Health Aide competency skills checklist as required by Medicare regulations Basic Life Support (BLS) STNA Certification OR Completion of Nursing Student Clinical Training upon hire (STNA required within 4 months)
